Setting up a PSCAD Trial License (PSCAD V5)
Contact our Sales Desk (sales@pscad.com) to obtain a trial of our fully-featured edition of PSCAD V5.
Once a trial has been issued to you, the software may be set up as follows:
a. Download the attached quick start instructional document.
b. The system requirements for running this software are listed in Step 3.
c. If you do not already have a MyCentre user account, register one as per Step 4.a.
Note
During the registration, ensure to register the e-mail address that you used when sending your trial request. Or, notify the Sales Desk if you have registered a different e-mail address.
d. If you were provided a join code, enter the join code as per Step 4.c.
e. Download the software from the Downloads tab in your MyCentre account, and install PSCAD per Step 5.
Note
Also install the GFortran compiler, as a FORTRAN compiler is required to compile PSCAD projects.
f. Launch PSCAD and activate your license as per Step 7. Your software shold be licensed and ready to run.
