Setting up the Licensed Edition of PSCAD X4 (when using Certificate Licensing)
This article provides instructions for setting up PSCAD software and licensing for a permanent or leased license, and is applicable for both Professional and Educational Editions, and for PSCAD v4.5.3 to v4.6.

Please note the following regarding your software installation:
- For PSCAD v4.6.3, Update 5 is available. See this article for information on improvements and setup.
- A silent (unattended) installation is available if you will be installing PSCAD on multiple machines. Please refer to Section 2.9 of this manual.
