PSCAD v5.0.2 Master Library Updates

1. Changes to the Master Library

Master Library v5.0.2.5

  • mmc_HalfCell - sum of capacitor voltages at timezero is now working as expected
  • ZDelay - storage allocation is corrected

Master Library v5.0.2.4

  • excst_2016 : incorrect logical storage allocation in ST1C exciter model
  • Line_Out_Disp : Minimum value that can be entered for frequency for calculation updated
  • compar, compare, rage, var_pot, var_switch : Visual indication added when the output is converted to the nearest integer
  • tpflt: graphics updated to avoid confusion when L-L and L-L-L faults with neutral grounded are selected
  • Line_ManualYZ : New parameter “name” added to ease automation scripts
  • excac, excac_2016, excdc, excdc_2016 : Minimum values adjusted in saturation related parameters
  • mrun_extra : spelling error corrected
  • trig : spelling error corrected
  • dc_mac_2w, pm_machine : Flyby help updated

Master Library v5.0.2.3 - Not created

Master Library v5.0.2.2

  • Adjustment to the Master Library v5.0.2.1 update.

Master Library v5.0.2.1

  • Added units to ON/OFF resistance parameters in the mmc_FullCell for parameters, related to IGBT (9887).

 

2. Replacing your Master Library

  • Close all instances of PSCAD v5.

  • Delete or rename your current Master Library file (master.pslx). This file should be located in a path similar to the following:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\PSCAD50\

  • Download the file from the link below and save somewhere local on your machine (e.g. Desktop).

  • Unzip the file. 
  • Save the unzipped file to the above-listed directory.

  • When PSCAD v5 is launched next, the updated Master Library will be loaded for use.
