Harmonic Current Injection

Description
This component injects an array of harmonic currents, at specified frequencies and equal magnitude, into a three-phase system.  Typical usage of this component is to function as a tool for the generation of impedance vs. frequency plots for linear systems.  To produce an impedance spectrum plot:

  1. Connect and configure the Harmonic Current Injection to a three-phase system; and

  2. Monitor the desired node voltages and then perform a Fourier analysis using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) component (or save the output to a file and perform an off-line Fourier analysis).
