Software Setup - FACE Professional or Trial Edition
This article provides instructions for setting up either the Professional Edition or the Trial Edition. The Professional Edition is permanent and fully-featured, while the Trial Edition is time-limited with all Professional Edition features except AC/DC Hybrid systems.
The attached document “Quick start setup instructions” is a quick reference guide to setting up the FACE software.
Or, for more detailed instructions, please refer to the attached document “Detailed setup instructions", and perform as follows:
a. Obtain access to a FACE License Certificate as per Section 2.2.
b. If you do not already have a MyCentre user account, register one as per Sections 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5.
c. If you were provided a join code, enter the join code as per Section 2.6.
d. Install the software as per Section 2.7.
e. Launch FACE as per Section 2.8.
f. If FACE is not licensed, activate a certificate per Section 2.9.
g. Your software will be licensed and ready to run.
Warning
It is important to properly configure the certificate upon shut-down to ensure it is available at next launch. Therefore, take special note of the exiting information in Section 2.11.
