PSCAD’s hospitality suite at this year’s IEEE PES General Meeting in Montréal was, once again, a huge success. The event, themed ‘Cirque du Power’, welcomed more than 1,650 members of the global power systems community over two evenings.

Held over two evenings and hosted jointly by PSCAD and RTDS Technologies, the event brought together system operators, utilities, manufacturers, consulting firms, research organizations, academia and industry partners from around the world.

The hospitality suite provided a valuable setting for networking and collaboration, with conversations spanning power system simulation, emerging industry challenges, and opportunities for research and industry collaboration.

“We look forward to this event every year because it gives us the opportunity to reconnect with clients and friends from across the industry that we don't get to see very often,” said Kristen Benjamin Carson, Manager, Project Sales and Administration. “It's always valuable to learn more about how they're using PSCAD, hear about the challenges they're facing, and discuss how we can better support their work.”

This event continues to demonstrate the strength of the PSCAD and RTDS communities and the value of bringing the power systems industry together.
