Lock-Based Licensing

The Licensing Menu can appear in two forms: Certificate and Lock-Based, depending on what type of licensing you are setup for. This topic describes the Legacy menu.


Certificate Menu	Lock-Based Menu

Switch to Certificate

Select this option to switch to the certificate licensing menu.

Activation

This menu is used to activate a Professional or Educational license.

Licensing Options

Select this option to invoke the Licensing Options dialog:

Host

License host: The hostname of the license manager server machine on your network.

Install

Select this option to invoke the License Update Utility.

View

Some options to view licensing details are presented in this menu:

Activation: View details about the currently active license.
Log: Opens the License Manager log file (PscadLmgr.txt).
