Substation Bus Work

The Bus Work components are specialized overhead line components, which model hollow pipe conductors. Bus Work components are used in exactly the same manner as the regular Overhead Line Towers. Each hollow conductor represents a single conductor, where the maximum in a single cross-section is 30.

Bus Name	Text		Enter a descriptive name for the Bus, such as the actual bus number of your system

Bus Height Above Ground	REAL	Literal	Enter the height to the centre point of the conductor closest to the ground plane [m]

Relative X Position of Bus Centre on Right of Way	REAL	Literal	Enter the relative horizontal position of the bus. This parameter is used for the spacing of multiple buses in the same right of way [m]

Shunt Conductance	REAL	Literal	Enter the shunt conductance of the bus [S/m]

Conductor Outer Radius	REAL	Literal	Enter the outer radius of the conductor [m]

Conductor Thickness	REAL	Literal	Enter the conductor thickness (i.e. outer radius minus inner radius [m]

Conductor DC Resistance	REAL	Literal	Enter the conductor DC Resistance [W/km]

Connection Number for C#	INTEGER	Literal	Enter the connection number for the corresponding bus conductor. This number will indicate to which external electrical connection on the Overhead Line Interface this conductor is to be attached
