The Voltage Source Model 2 allows impedance entry for positive sequence (i.e. main phase) impedance only, with allowance for modeling an infinite bus (i.e. ideal source). The following describe some of the data entry options.
The positive sequence source impedance may be chosen as one of the 4 following types:
Resistive: Purely resistive
R-R//L: Parallel RL in series with a resistance
R-L-C: Series RLC
Inductive: Purely inductive
Capacitive: Purely capacitive
Ideal (R=0): Ideal source
Impedance quantities may be entered directly as lumped R, L and C values in this model. If your impedance data is in polar format, you may want to consider using the Voltage Source Model 1 or Three-Phase Voltage Source Model 3 models.
