The component can be used to force any data signal scalar or array into the DSDYN section of the EMTDC System Dynamics, and should be used only by advanced users.
One of the advantages this component offers is that if all input signals to a component (be it master library or user-defined) are preprocessed by this component, it will ensure that PSCAD forces the component itself into DSDYN.
