DC Exciters (Obsolete)

 

Description

NOTE: This component has been replaced by the newest revision: 421.5-2016 - IEEE Recommended Practice for Excitation System Models for Power System Stability Studies. See DC Exciters (2016).

 

This component models a standard IEEE type exciter. All input parameters are either entered in seconds (time constants) or per-unit (all other inputs).  The various external inputs and outputs described below:
