CCCM Controller for Rectifier

Description

This component models a voltage dependent voltage order characteristic for the HVDC Combined Coordinated Control Method (CCCM).  CCCM combines and coordinates the DC current and DC voltage control at each DC station.

Text

Optional text parameter for identification of the component.

 Maximum Current Capability

REAL

Variable

This is usually 1.0 pu or greater.  It should be the maximum level the HVDC link can maintain a steady-state current [pu]

Voltage above which VDCOL is Off

REAL

Variable

Whenever DC voltage Udr rises to this level or greater, there is no voltage dependent current order limit applied [pu]

Minimum Current Limit

REAL

Variable

The minimum current order limit for the rectifier.  The rectifier will normally not operate at a current below this level [pu]

Voltage when VDCOL is Fully On

REAL

Variable

The voltage setting entered here defines the level of DC voltage below which the minimum current level is maintained by the rectifier [pu]
