Click the File tab in the ribbon control bar, click the Open menu item, and then select the Open icon.

The Open File dialog will open with default file types as All PSCAD File Types. Navigate to the desired workspace file and select it so that its name appears in the File name field. Click the Open button to open the project. If the old workspace has been modified, you will be asked to save it before the new one is opened.

Clicking Examples will bring you directly to the PSCAD Examples folder, including tutorial projects/workspaces. |

Import is used specifically for importing PSCAD v4.2.1 projects. For more details on this, see Migrating from Older Versions. |

Navigates to directly to the My Projects folder. This is a user-set folder in the Application Options. |
PSCAD maintains a list of workspaces, projects and folders recently used. To open a project file that was previously opened, click the Cases or Libraries tab in the Recent Files area.
Projects may also be opened via drag and drop. See Drag and Drop for more details.
