There are two types of input data entry formats.
This input data entry format is the more familiar mode of machine parameter definitions. Here parameters such as Xd, Xd', Xd'', Tdo', Tdo'' etc. are entered in per-unit.
Some manufactures provide armature resistance and some provide the time constant. If the Data Entry Format input parameter is set to Generator, you can either specify the armature resistance in per-unit or the time constant in seconds.
This format is based on the synchronous machine equivalent circuits for the D and Q-axes.
