This component simulates a spark gap. It may be used in either a single-line or 3-phase view.
When the voltage across the spark gap exceeds the specified threshold, it begins to conduct until the applied voltage is reversed. The spark gap is modeled as a switch changing states between ON and OFF, and does not model a nonlinear arc.
