This area contains settings related to dependent applications and libraries:
Version: Select the Fortran compiler to be used for compilation of projects. If you have more than one compiler installed, you may freely switch between compilers without having to restart PSCAD or reload the project (provided they are compatible of course). See Supported Fortran Compilers for a list of compatible FORTRAN compilers.
Number formatting (locale): Setting this option to Use English (USA) number format can eliminate runtime errors where the default number format does not use periods as decimal points.
Copy .dll to local folder (gf46): Select Yes to copy dynamic link library (*.dll) files to a local folder.
Version: If you intend to make use of the MATLAB/Simulink interface, then choose which version of MATLAB you will be using in this field.
Folder: For display only. This is the auto generated path to the library files associated with selected MATLAB version. NOTE: The MATLAB interface does not support the GFortran compiler.
Configuration File: Selects the MATLAB information file. This file includes configuration information about compatible versions.
Master library file: The master library contains a large number of core models for performing simulations in PSCAD. It is always opened within any workspace and any modifications to it cannot be saved.
User Libraries Method root folder: Specify a root folder, in which to place compiler specific object (*.obj or *.o) and static library (*.lib) files. See User Libraries Method for more details.
