
This component can represent one of five IEEE type thermal governor models:
GOV1: Approximate Mechanical-Hydraulic Controls
GOV2: Mechanical-Hydraulic Controls (GE)
GOV3: Electro-Hydraulic Controls (GE)
GOV4: DEH Controls (Westinghouse)
GOV5: NEI Parsons Controls
The inputs to this component are per-unit speed w, per-unit speed reference Wref. The output is the gate position z. The outputs are the control valve flow area Cv and on GOV2, 3 and 5, the intercept valve flow area Iv. Both of these outputs should be input to a corresponding Thermal Turbine.
