This category contains options that relate to library and case projects.
My projects folder: Enter a default folder path for the Open File dialog. Once a path is entered in this field, the Open File dialog will always start in that specified folder. If the field is left blank, then PSCAD will default to the folder last accessed by either the Open File or Save As… dialog. You can either enter the path directly, or use the browse button to select the folder. This path may be changed at any time.
File name is: Select either Hidden or Visible. If Visible is selected, both the project namespace and filename will be displayed in the workspace primary window.
Plotted data source: Controls the display of the project data source in the workspace primary window. If Visible, the data source will be displayed along side the namespace name. Note that the data source is only displayed when viewing binary EMTDC output (*.psout) files.
CRC Checking: Controls whether or not CRC checking is performed when project files (*.pslx, *.pscx) are loaded into the workspace. Enable this option with caution, as CRC checking of the project file can greatly slow load speed. CRC checking is useful in rare instances, such as when attempting to uncover file tampering or corruption.
On unload library: Select whether or not you wish to be notified when unloading a library project that has inter-project dependencies (i.e. has definitions that are instantiated in other projects).
