This in-person training course covers the fundamental phenomena applicable to the study electromagnetic transients in electrical networks. In this course, we will look at a number of applications areas such as:

  • AC transients
  • Fault and protection
  • Transformer saturation
  • Wind energy
  • FACTS
  • Distributed generation
  • Power quality

Other power systems topics will also be discussed with practical examples serving to illustrate the subjects.

Date: March 28-30, 2023
Time: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm (CDT/GMT-6)
