Installing MyUpdater

This article provides instructions for installing the MyUpdater tool (also known as the Update Client), which is used to install products as specified in this article.

1. New Installation

Install MyUpdater as follows:

  • If you do not already have a MyCentre user account, set one up as per Step 2 of this document.

  • Log in to MyCentre, display your "Downloads" tab, and select the link to download the Update Client:

  • Right-click on the downloaded setup.exe file, and select "Run as administrator".

  • When prompted by the Windows User Account Control, select "Yes" to allow changes to your machine.

  • If prompted to install pre-requisite software, select the option to proceed with this.

  • Proceed through the installation, then log in, in MyUpdater, using your MyCentre user login credentials when prompted.

If the installation is not proceeding, please use the alternate MyUpdater setup instructions.

2. Updating your Existing MyUpdater

If MyUpdater 1.0.2.62 or earlier is already installed, refer to the attached manual, "MyUpdater - Ensuring a successful update".
